Finally managed to mark both queens so hopefully less hide and seek in future. I used a 'crown of thorns' cage to hold the queen in place and placed a dot on her back.
Picture of queen pre dot, we still have honey lets hope the weather lasts and they dont eat it all. They are so far healthy and numerous which is good news for the winter!
